Thread: Razr ICS OS

Its been said that the RAZR will get ice cream sandwich. As for The waiting game, well that depends you.

I am pretty sure, majority of the top devices on each carrier will get the update to ICS, just depends on how long that wait would be as it is carrier specific for releasing them.

Or you could wait for the phones that will be releasing with it, like the Nexus Galaxy and just read somewhere that the HTC rezound will as well at launch. Both should be releasing soon on big red IIRC.

If you are going to wait for the next phone from moto on VZW you will be waiting for a while, the razr should get ICS so if you want to upgrade to it then you could get it as soon as it is release if you want then just wait for the update from moto, may take a few months. If you are into rooting/roms then you may want to go with the nexus or rezound since they should be easier to root and allow roms easier than the locked up bootloader on the razr

@Droidtothemax I dont think the rezound will launch with ICS as it should be out soon based on all the leaks and IIRC the system leak is GB. Per phandroid it looks like LG will have the first non-nexus ICS release.
