Thumbs up Spam in the Form of Notifications

Apparently theres some new Airpush-like malware/unethical advertising method out there - see post # 8 in the following thread: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

My AirPush Detector found nothing. I didnt root my phone and did not check install from unknown sources. I also verified that I do not have root access to my phone.

It appears to be Traffic Jam. Ive uninstalled it. Just want to thank everyone on these forums here who helps me find the solution.

    Just to round out:
This seens to be an other kind of AirPush named LeadBolt.

The app Addons Detector lists all addons on the phone. When AirPush or LeadBolt is on the (very long) list of apps for an app then this app is a source of notifications bar spamming.

I ended up using Autorun Manager (AirPush Detector did nothing to assist my search) and found a crossword app running on start up and in the back ground, so I uninstalled the app and did not receive any spam overnight.

I am not completely convinced that I am immuned but at least I have found a way to detect this spam...

PS: I play traffic Jam also but was not a problem for me.
