Thread: issue with Verizon - Promo plan for unlimited data/text...

Wow, I really need to be reading in here more often. I just called and switched. With my three lines it is saving me about $50 a month.

i got this plan yesterday, and no contract was involved, i even asked about that

I just called to try to get the promo and was denied. Ill try again later and see if I can get a different CSR to get it done.

did they give you a reason?

She said it was only for certain phone numbers and it wasnt being rolled out to everyone at this time. I didnt want to get into the Everybody on androidforums got it at that point. My cubemates were laughing at the fact that I got shot down.


Edit: I called back this afternoon and my new friend Edward hooked me up. Rule #1 of dealing with CSRs: If the first one denies you, call back later and talk to someone else. Eventually someone should help you out.
