Just ordered a Verizon Galaxy Tab 7 and was about to purchase a Bluetooth Keyboard / Case, but read that there was an issue with the HID drivers being removed in early releases. I would end up rooting and probably replace the rom on my device anyway. Before I purchase the keyboard can anyone confirm that the HID issue has been resolved in the new builds for Verizon. And if not, is there a rom i can flash to fix the issue. Thank you.

VZW fixed the HID issue a while back. The latest gingerbread release did not break it.

So go for the keyboard. Ive used 4 different bluetooth keyboard with the original galaxy tab...however, I just converted to Asus transformer and only use the tab when traveling light.
